I bought mine 10 years ago as a retirement present at the instince of my wife. I was 53 when I retired, paid just over $11k with a few items that I had the dealer install. I looked at Heitage Softail and noted that it was just over $22k. I got basically the same bike, big twin motor, bigger displacement, belt drive and smooth ride. My brother has a Heitage and when we ride together his wife walks up to my bike thinking that it is his. Mine is Charcoal Blue and his is black. Now that it is 10 years old I love it more each time I ride it and have been to Sturgis, riding out and back, 9 times and am getting ready for number 10. I can ride 600+ miles in one day, get off and can still walk which at my age is remarkable!!!
